Eating habits during the COVID-19 pandemic
Our objective is to understand how the eating habits of Canadians are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic
The COVID-19 pandemic and self-isolation measures are affecting usual eating habits for all Canadians. Limited access to grocery shopping and restaurants, restricted budget due to sudden unemployment, limited cooking skills, changes in living arrangement, stress, anxiety, and depression are just a few possible factors that could affect the way that people are obtaining foods and making food choices during the pandemic. Participating in the COVIDiet study will help researchers understand how this pandemic is affecting the eating habits of Canadians to inform public health agencies in the difficult economic times to come.
Your participation is needed and much appreciated!
